Eight Capital says chief executive David Bull to step down

The board is in the process of appointing a successor and is also considering further additions

Eight Capital Partners PLC (AQSE:ECP) said chief executive officer David Bull is stepping down from his role on 12 August 2022.

Bull joined the financial services company as a non-executive director in June 2021 before being appointed chief executive in September that year.

According to a statement, the board is in the process of appointing his replacement, as well as considering further additions.

Additionally, Eight Capital announced Luciano Maranzana will be joining as a non-executive director.

Maranzana’s career spans over 30 years, primarily in asset management and he previously held positions as managing director at Hammerson, a UK investment group, and Valore Real, a fund management company.

He joins Eight Capital from Negentrophy Capital Partners Italia, a London-based alternative investment management and advisory company.

“His extensive cross-border asset management experience and expertise will strengthen ECP's offering by adding new, complementary skills to the wider group as we continue to build ECP into an international fintech operating business,” said chairman Dominic White.
