Adriatic Metals PLC (LSE:ADT1, ASX:ADT, OTCQX:ADMLF) chief executive Paul Cronin joins Proactive London to talk through developments at the group’s Vares silver project in Bosnia & Herzegovina as it looks to begin mining ore in the coming months.
He says the project is currently running on schedule, with mining due to begin underground from “the end of October, early November”.
“We will generate a reasonable stockpile of material at-surface that can come into the plant, so where you would normally see a longer ramp-up timeframe, because we have that ore supply at surface […] we actually intend to hit nameplate capacity by the end of 2023.”
