Nicole Galloway Warland, Thor Mining's CEO, explains how a A$2.5mln injection of funds by OZ Minerals at Kapunda in Australia can give a real boost to the project.
The money will be used to investigate ISR mining techniques, a method seen as a more environmentally acceptable form of mining than traditional open-cut and underground methods.
Thor has a 30% stake in the joint venture developing Kapunda, which will not be affected by OZ's investment.
