James Cropper plc (AIM:CRPR) said it appointed Steve Adams as its chief executive officer following the resignation of Phil Wild.
The change takes effect immediately, the advanced materials and paper products group said in a statement.
Steve Adams is an executive director of the company and managing director of the James Cropper Paper Division. He joined the company in 2017 and has a strong commercial background with leadership experience previously gained at 3M in the UK and Europe covering display, traffic and vehicle safety, telecommunications, electronics and energy markets.
Adams said: "Building on the strong foundations set in place by Phil Wild, I am excited at the prospect of capitalising on the unique and significant capabilities of our people and know-how to become a truly global market leader in our core technology areas.”
