Westminster Group said it was awarded a contract worth up to 'several hundreds of thousands of pounds' to provide check-in security training.
The contract, at one of the UK's busiest airports, will see Westminster deliver training to increase the number of potential ground security officers (GSOs) to help ease some of the check-in problems being experienced across the industry.
GSOs at airports are responsible for searching customers and their bags and validating boarding cards when they go through the check-in process.
Paul Morton, Westminster's training and compliance director, said: “Westminster's team of operationally experienced trainers has once again been recognised as first choice for quality and effective training support."
