ECR Minerals PLC (AIM:ECR) said two potential mineralisation corridors have been identified from a drill hole at the HR3 prospect within its Bailieston gold project in Victoria, Australia.
BH3DD032 was drilled at depth beneath four earlier holes to test the continuity of mineralised structures identified in hole BH3DD019.
The best assay results for BH3DD032 were 0.2 metres (m) at 4.81 grammes a tonne (g/t) gold and 0.4m at 6.11 g/t gold beginning from 154.1m downhole.
“Despite the well documented delays in receiving these assays …I believe that Technical Director Adam Jones and his team are doing an outstanding job in uncovering an asset of increasing significance for ECR,” said chief executive Andrew Haythorpe.
“The grades at hole BH3DD032 demonstrate potential cross-asset consistency, building on the previously reported grade continuity from holes BH3DD035, BH3DD012, BH3DD019 and BH3DD034, and establishing what we believe are two mineralised corridors within the Maori Anticline.”

The AIM-listed company is awaiting the results from another seven drill holes within HR3.
It plans to start drilling at the Blue Moon prospect, also part of Bailieston, next month.
