Critical Resources Ltd (ASX:CRR) has intersected multiple spodumene-bearing pegmatite dykes totalling up to 28.25 metres from its recent drilling campaign at its Mavis Lake Lithium Project in Canada, delivering one of the “largest cumulative intersections” at the project.
Notably, the 28.25-metre intersection in the step-out hole includes 23.9 metres of spodumene mineralisation from 126.1 metres to 150 metres downhole.
Also, multiple spodumene-bearing pegmatite dykes were intersected totalling 14.6 metres in hole MF22-118, including 9.75 metres of spodumene mineralisation from 247.75 metres to 257.5 metres downhole, demonstrating mineralisation at previously unseen depth.
In total, 53 of 59 drill holes have intersected spodumene-bearing pegmatite to date, including the most recent holes from MF22-117 to MF22-118.
Looking ahead, the results build further confidence in the company’s exploration program as it continues its pursuit of a maiden JORC-compliant resource.

CRR Chairman Robert Martin said: “To intersect a further cumulative 28.25 metres and 14.6 metres of lithium-bearing pegmatites in the following two holes from one of our largest cumulative intersections in previously untested areas at Mavis Lake builds further confidence in our program as we work towards delineating our maiden JORC-compliant resource.
“These results show the pegmatites remain open at depth and along a potential strike length of approximately 3 kilometres between our Pegmatite 6 and Pegmatite 18 prospects.
“We look forward to keeping the market updated as we continue our extended drilling program and when our assay results are received.”
Forward plan
To date, CRR has completed nearly 80% of its 10,000 metres of approved drilling, while the primary focus remains completing an infill drilling program. This will be followed by testing around three kilometres of potential strike length toward pegmatite 18.
In the meantime, a 50-metre infill drill hole spacing will continue to test the strike length and down-dip continuity to further delineate the spodumene-bearing pegmatites, which will underpin the development of a maiden JORC-compliant resource.
