Kromek Group PLC (AIM:KMK) said it completed a £1.7mln fundraising, which it did via the issue of convertible loan notes.
The developer of radiation and bio-detection technology said the cash injection would "provide additional working capital to minimise any potential supply chain disruption to the delivery of contracts during the year".
The debt, which carries an annual coupon of 8%, is convertible into equity at 15p a share, a 30% premium to Thursday’s close.
