Metal Tiger PLC (AIM:MTR, OTC:MRTTF, ASX:MTR) said Cobre Limited, its investee company, announced the third intersection of copper mineralisation from its ongoing drill programme on Kalahari Metal Limited’s NCP licenses at the Ngami Copper Project in Botswana.
A statement from Cobre suggests mineralisation consists of chrysocolla, malachite and fine grained chalcocite which occur over a 15m interval downhole.
According to the statement, the drill hole NCP09 intersected a 15m zone of copper mineralisation starting from 106m downhole.
Today’s statement from the AIM and ASX listed natural resource investor builds on Monday’s announcement, when Cobre announced its second ‘significant intersection’, noting the district scale opportunity of the site.
Metal Tiger owns 34.7mln shares in Cobre, which represents an approximately 21% stake.
