EKF Diagnostics Holdings PLC said it remains confident in meeting full-year expectations after strong trading in the first half of 2022.
For the sixth months up to 30 June, the medical diagnostics business reported revenue of £37.5mln, slightly below the same period last year, while it delivered double-digit growth on an underlying basis (excluding COVID-related revenue).
According to a trading update, it now expects to report adjusted EBITDA in line with management expectations and remains on track for the rest of the year due to recently established activities starting to scale.
"It has been an encouraging start to the year and our adjusted EBITDA 1 expectations for the full year remain in line with expectations,” said chief executive Mike Salter
“We are excited by the growth potential from our expansion plans which will support growth through to 2024 and beyond, funded by internally generated cash resources.”
The shares were up 5.76% in late morning trading.
