ReNeuron Group PLC (AIM:RENE) has promoted its chief financial officer to the role of chief executive.
Catherine Isted had been working closely with the board led by chairman Iain Ross since the departure of Olav Hellebø in February.
"Over the last six months and under my leadership, Catherine has worked with the executive team to refine the strategic and operational focus of the company,” said Ross.
“She has shown herself to be an excellent candidate for the role and consequently, against external competition, the board has taken the decision to appoint Catherine as the new CEO.”
Ross will return to his role as non-executive chairman following Isted’s appointment.
The former ReNeuron CFO joined the company from Oxford Biomedica, where she was "instrumental" in helping her former employer to raise £110mln.
