Critical Resources Ltd (ASX:CRR) has intersected further zinc, lead, copper and silver-bearing zones of sulphide mineralisation from ongoing diamond drilling at Gibson prospect within the Halls Peak Project in New South Wales.
Standout assays include:
- 8 metres at 4.59% zinc, 1.65% lead, 0.70% copper, 98.63 g/t silver and 0.21 g/t gold from 183.8 metres downhole;
- 7.2 metres at 3.74% zinc, 1.77% lead, 0.15% copper and 18.17g/t silver from 25.1 metres downhole; and
- 1.6 metres at 0.36% zinc, 0.03% lead, 1.54% copper and 105 g/t silver from 43.2 metres downhole.
The strong mineralisation at depth continues to expand the potential of the Halls Peak System – a large mineralised system with numerous widespread high-grade zinc-lead-copper-silver.
Looking ahead, continued drilling at Gibson's is focusing on identifying the mineralised extent of the lithology, with the aim of unlocking the full potential of the Halls Peak base metal system.

Drill results
CRR’s assays demonstrated that all holes intersected further zinc, lead, copper and silver-bearing zones of sulphide mineralisation, building on earlier successes reported in recent months.
Hole 18 was in an emerging zone of newly discovered mineralisation, which lies outside the previously known mineralisation within the Gibsons prospect of the project, while hole 17 also tested a new area outside the known mineralisation.
It also builds on recent drilling by the company, which has confirmed base metal sulphide mineralisation extending vertically over 300 metres in the deepest holes drilled.
Core from completed holes 19 and 20 is being assayed at the ALS laboratory in Brisbane with results to be announced in due course.
