Medica Group PLC (LSE:MGP) expects to post a 36% increase in revenue for the six months to end-June and said demand for its services remains strong.
The medical imaging group now expects to report group revenue of £36.0mln, in-line with expectations.
On a like-for-like basis, excluding the positive impact of RadMD in the US, revenue is expected to grow 27% over the same period last year.
It also continues to expect full-year results to be in line with expectations.
“Medica has made good progress assisting our clients in managing the backlog of patients requiring scanning and reporting services, as well as responding to an increasing need for our emergency reporting service in the UK and Ireland,” said chief executive Dr. Stuart Quin in a trading update.
“Demand for our services is expected to remain high and, to address this, we continue to work to increase our reporting capacity by adding new reporters to our network and through improvements to our technology platform to support increased productivity.”
It plans to report its interim results on 26 September.
