Shoe Zone PLC (AIM:SHOE) raised its full-year profit guidance on the back of stronger-than-expected trading in recent weeks.
The shoe retailer said it has seen higher-than-expected demand for summer products, particularly in the last two weeks, adding margins are improving as a result of good supply chain and cost management.
It now expects adjusted profit before tax for the year to 2 October 2022 of not less than £9.5mln, above the previous forecast of £8.5mln.
Shares jumped 5.43% to 195.04p in morning trade, having climbed as high as 205p earlier.
