Flynn Gold Ltd (ASX:FG1) has begun exploring the kilometre-scale potential of the gold mineralisation system at the Golden Ridge Project in northeast Tasmania with a reverse circulation (RC) drilling program, designed to test the Kensington, Blinding and Link Zone prospects.
The program will involve 10 shallow holes and 1,350 metres of scout drilling, the first to be conducted outside the Brilliant and Trafalgar prospects at Golden Ridge.

“We are excited to commence our shallow RC drilling program at Kensington which will represent the first-ever drilling at the prospect and the first drilling outside the Brilliant and Trafalgar prospects,” Flynn Gold executive director Sam Garrett said.
“This work is being carried out in conjunction with the ongoing diamond drilling program at Trafalgar.
“The geological and geochemical information gained will be very valuable to our ongoing exploration efforts at Golden Ridge.
“Flynn now has three active drilling programs in operation in northeast Tasmania and we look forward to updating investors on progress and results.”
Once the scout drilling program at the Kensington, Blinding and Link Zone prospects is complete, Flynn plans to test shallow targets at the Brilliant and Trafalgar prospects with the RC rig.
FG1 is also exploring two zinc-silver tenements on Tasmania’s mineral-rich west coast. The company holds additional gold assets in the Pilbara and Yilgarn regions of Western Australia.
