Naked Wines PLC (AIM:WINE, OTCQX:NWINF) said it appointed James Crawford as chief financial officer on an interim basis until June 2023.
Crawford, who previously held the role of CFO of Naked Wines from April 2015 to November 2020, will combine this interim role with his responsibilities as managing director of Naked Wines UK division, the company said in a statement.
Crawford takes over from Shawn Tabak, who by mutual agreement departed his positions of CFO and director with the company with effect from 22 July 2022.
The board position being vacated by Tabak will not be filled at this time, the company said.
“I would like to thank Shawn for his efforts on behalf of Naked and personally for his support and partnership. Shawn’s experience in leading finance organisations in high-growth U.S. environments has been valuable. During his time at the company we have achieved significant growth which we have consolidated in our most recently completed fiscal year,” said Naked Wines chief executive Nick Devlin.
“I’m delighted to be able to call on James, a highly accomplished executive with unmatched knowledge of the business and value creation model to return to the CFO role on an interim basis. I would like to thank Shawn and James for having worked closely together to effect a smooth transition.”
