Vast Resources PLC (AIM:VAST) produced 268.8 dry metric tonnes of copper concentrate from its Baita Plai mine in Romania during the second quarter of 2022, an increase of 17% from 229 dry metric tonnes in the first quarter.
Tonnes milled for the period declined slightly by 6% to 11,292 metric tonnes, although ore mined increased slightly by 3.5% to 13,020 metric tonnes.
The copper grade milled improved by 33% to 0.6%.
The company continues to forecast a substantial increase in copper concentrate tonnage production in the third quarter and beyond, as a second milling circuit is commissioned and the Mantis drill rigs deliver access to more ore.
