1. Tesla excels in carbon credit market

According to earnings results published on 21 July, Tesla made US$344mln from these credits (compared to US$679mln in the previous quarter), presumably with few operating expenses involved.

2. CMA approve BT and Warner Bros joint venture

BT Sport and Eurosport UK, which is owned by Warner Bros, will be “brought together to form a sports joint venture for customers.”

3. Former Coinbase employees arrested

Leading crypto exchange Coinbase’s former product manager Ishan Wahi and brother Sameer have been arrested in what appears to be the first-ever case of insider trading in the cryptocurrency sector.

4. FTSE 100 closes up

FTSE 100 finished on Friday 5.86 points higher, or 0.08%, at 7,276.37.
