Vuzix Corporation (NASDAQ:VUZI) announced that it has received a volume original equipment manufacturer (OEM) purchase order for custom-designed waveguides from a US-based, Fortune 50 software and hardware technology customer, which plans to use them in their own head-mounted display (HMD) product development program. The supplier of smart glasses and augmented reality (AR) technologies and products said the waveguides are being built by Vuzix to specifically match the customer's needs and specifications. “This order for custom waveguides represents the tip of the iceberg for Vuzix OEM supply efforts in terms of the expected long-term industry demand we are seeing,” Vuzix CEO Paul Travers said in a statement.

Belmont Resources Inc (TSX-V:BEA) announced that Olympia Trust Company has replaced TSX Trust Company as the company’s registrar and transfer agent. Shareholders need not take action in respect of the change in transfer agent. Silvercorp Metals Inc (TSX:SVM, AMEX:SVM) has reported double-digit growth in the production and sales of silver, lead and gold in the first quarter ended 30 June 2022. The China-focused mining firm said on a consolidated basis, sales increased 17%, 10%, and 14% for silver, lead, and gold, respectively but zinc fell 5% from the year-ago period. Also on a consolidated basis, 300,104 tonnes of ore were mined during the quarter, up 30% over 1Q fiscal 2022, and 298,176 tonnes of ore were milled, up 23%. Silvercorp said it produced and sold approximately 1.9 million ounces of silver, 1,100 ounces of gold, and 19.1 million pounds of lead, representing year-over-year production increases of 26%, 10%, and 20%, respectively, in the three months ended 30 June, but production of zinc fell 4% to 6.9 million pounds.

GoviEx Uranium Inc (TSX-V:GXU, OTCQX:GVXXF) said that the government of the Republic of Niger has agreed to defer the taxes payable for the surface area of its Madaouela project due later this month by 50%. According to the terms of the deferment, GoviEx will pay 50% of the surface area taxes amounting to US$2.8 million in July 2022 and the remaining 50% in December 2022. "Once again, the government of Niger has proven to be an excellent partner and willing to work with GoviEx,” company CEO Daniel Major said.

CanAlaska Uranium Ltd (TSX-V:CVV, OTCQB:CVVUF) told investors it has uncovered a "significant" new uranium zone at its West McArthur project in Canada's Athabasca Basin. The drill hole, at which the discovery was made, was the second regional test of the current summer program and, significantly, sits 6 kilometres (km) along strike to the southwest of the firm's 42 Zone mineralization. It hit a broad, 6.3 metre (m) long interval of elevated radioactivity, which included several metre-to sub-metre-long intervals of moderate to strong radioactivity, the company noted. "The CanAlaska team has delivered a new uranium intersection in a new area of the West McArthur project with its second drill hole of the summer program," added CanAlaska CEO Cory Belyk in a statement.

American Manganese Inc, doing business as RecycLiCo Battery Materials, has announced that chief technology officer (CTO) and director Zarko Meseldzija is taking part in an energy transitional conference call series hosted by Jon Windham, CFA, a UBS Alternative Energy & Environmental Services Equity research analyst, on Thursday, July 21 at 11am EST. MedX Health Corp. (TSX-V:MDX) has closed the first tranche of a non-brokered private placement, issuing five convertible notes and raising a total of $250,000. The Ontario-based company said the placement is part of its up to 80 Series III Convertible Loan Notes to raise up to $4 million, announced at the end of June 2022. Each of the Series III Convertible Notes has a face value of $50,000 and will bear interest at 8% per year, payable half-yearly, and maturing on December 31, 2026. The notes may be converted into units at $0.07 per unit at any time until the maturity date.

Amaroq Minerals Ltd (TSX-V:AMRQ, AIM:AMRQ) has announced that on July 13 this year it was informed that Livermore Partners LLC, a company in which David Neuhauser, non-executive director of Amaroq Minerals, is managing director, acquired a total of 35,700 common shares in the company. This brings Livermore Partners LLC's total holding to 12,016,410 shares, representing 6.78% of the capital.

Prospector Metals Corp said that the TSX Venture Exchange has accepted for filing a property acquisition agreement dated May 25 this year between the company, and Grant Lockhart, Jodie Gibson, Jeffrey Sundar, Ronnie Therriault, Alan Wainwright, Daniel MacNeal, James Paterson and John Robins (the vendors). Pursuant to the terms, Prospector Metals may acquire Leopard Lake property in Northwest Ontario. By way of consideration, the company will issue 1.25 million shares at a deemed price of 34 cents per share.
