Corazon Mining Ltd (ASX:CZN)’s Brett Smith joins Elisha Newell to chat about geochemical work from the Mt Gilmore Project in northern NSW and the latest developments at Lynn Lake. At Mt Gilmore, innovative geochemical studies by the University of Tasmania have uncovered a new target with a signature similar to known large deposits. The work provides a focus for ongoing exploration in northern NSW. Based on the positive results, Corazon plans to start a new phase of targeted fieldwork at Mt Gilmore. Over at the flagship Lynn Lake project, the CZN managing director highlights the significant progress made in exploration drilling, metallurgical test-work and defining additional resources within the project area. As drilling continues, Corazon has delivered encouraging results from drilling at the Motriuk Ultramafic intrusion, with Smith highlighting the potential these sulphides to accumulate at depth and provide a compelling target for the drilling in progress. The company is also currently working with international mining consultants, Palaris, on advancing the mine site toward redevelopment.
