Golden Minerals Company (NYSE-A:AUMN, TSX:AUMN, ETR:7GB) revealed its 2Q production figures showing its Rodeo gold-silver mine in Mexico delivered 3,004 ounces of payable gold.
During the three-month period to end June 30, 2022, Rodeo also produced 12,768 ounces silver, according to a release.
All told, the mine delivered 3,158 gold equivalent ounces during the quarter at an average gold grade of 2.6 grams per ton, compared to 3,608 gold equivalent ounces at 3.1 grams per ton gold in 1Q 2022.

Rodeo’s throughput, or tonnes per day processed, held steady at 522 tons compared to 527 tons in the previous quarter, as did total tons processed of 47,479 (47,437 in 1Q).
The 1,866-hectare gold project is located in Durango State, Mexico, approximately 80 kilometers west of the Velardeña properties and processing mills. Golden began gold and silver production at Rodeo in January 2021.
The mining operation generated over $25 million in revenue and $12 million in net operating margin in 2021.
Golden Minerals achieved gold recovery of 75.1% and silver recovery of 82.3%, it added.
Based in Golden, Colorado, Golden Minerals is primarily focused on producing gold and silver from its Rodeo mine and advancing its Velardena properties in Mexico. Through partner-funded exploration, it is advancing the El Quevar silver property in Argentina, as is acquiring and advancing selected mining properties in Mexico, Nevada and Argentina.
