Fallen-star fund manager Neil Woodford has seemingly given up his attempt to return to the UK fund management market.
An application has been made for his new WCM Partners business to be removed from the Companies House register.
According to the company's accounts, the business had current assets of £1.3mln split between debtors and cash at the end of last year.
This year, Woodford's long-time colleague Jonathan Adair resigned from his role as director and chief technology officer at WCM, as he set up his own business, Curated Capital, taking another director, Kristian Penttila, with him.
Woodford's business partners Craig Newman and Paul Green are the sole current directors at the businesses, which is also registered in the Cayman Islands and Delaware, USA.
Last year Woodford announced that WCM was going to "rebuild the Woodford investment operation under a new brand", with a fund holding a number of stocks previously owned by the failed LF Woodford Equity Income fund, but available for institutional investors only.
