Three Arrows Capital founders still on the run as Zhu breaks silence

Lawyers lob a Twitter missile at collapsed fund's liquidators

Su Zhu, the aloof founder of bankrupt venture fund Three Arrows Capital, has broken his month-long silence with a combative message to 3AC’s liquidators.

Zhu’s counsel Advocatus Law accused his fund’s liquidators of “baiting our clients” in contrast to “representations that you were seeking to engage our clients in good faith”.

Zhu shared a screenshot of the message in a July 12 Tweet.

Sadly, our good faith to cooperate with the Liquidators was met with baiting. Hope that they did exercise good faith wrt the StarkWare token warrants. pic.twitter.com/CF73xI8r6n

The letter accused the liquidator of reneging on a StarkWare token purchase offer that was allegedly agreed upon on July 8, which Advocatus Law believes “may constitute a breach of duty”.

The whereabouts of Su Zhu and fellow 3AC founder Kyle Davies remains a mystery after they went into hiding following the British Virgin Island-based fund’s collapse.

Where in the world is Su Zhu and Davies?

The latest filing from the New York Bankruptcy Court mentioned that “they (Zhu and Davies) are rumoured to have left Singapore,” although this cannot be confirmed.

Singapore is a small island, but Advocatus Law’s note alluded to them still working on “Singapore time”.

Wherever they are, speculation is bound to circulate until the facts become clear.

Has anyone checked in on Kit Dotcom lately?
