Doré Copper Mining Corp. (TSX-V:DCMC, OTCQX:DRCMF) said it has received the first results from its 45,000-metre (m) drilling program at its flagship Corner Bay copper-gold deposit in Quebec, as the company works toward updating the site’s Inferred Mineral Resource to the Indicated category.
The company said as of July 4, it has completed 32 drill holes totalling 33,900m and it is reporting the results from 13 holes.
The program was designed to infill the Corner Bay deposit at a 50 to 60m spacing from surface to a depth of 1,000m and to potentially expand the higher-grade copper zone in the Main Vein above the dyke.

Highlights from the results include an intercept of 2.6m of 2.33% copper and 10.7 grams per tonne of silver in the Main Vein above dyke.
Doré CEO Ernest Mast said results from the first infill holes were confirming the continuity of the copper mineralization at the deposit.
“The next part of the program will target the infill and expansion drilling of the highest grade part of the deposit where a number of intercepts returned greater than 8% copper and were announced during the second half of 2021,” Mast said.
Doré Copper Mining is aiming to be the next copper producer in Quebec with an initial production target of 50 million pounds-plus of copper equivalent annually by implementing a hub-and-spoke operation model with multiple high-grade copper-gold assets feeding into its centralized Copper Rand mill.
