Dechra Pharmaceuticals PLC (LSE:DPH) reported strong sales in its latest fiscal year, with group revenue up 12% on a reported basis and 14% stronger at a constant exchange rate.
Dechra is to announce its preliminary results on September 5, 2022, and said as a result of previously announced product acquisitions it posted "excellent year-on-year organic revenue growth".
European pharmaceuticals revenue grew by 8%, while North American pharmaceuticals were 24% higher.
The veterinary pharmaceuticals acquired six minor products for North America, along with worldwide rights to verdinexor, branded Laverdia, which is a niche therapy for all forms of canine lymphoma.
"We are delighted that the financial year just ended was another record year for Dechra and in line with expectations, with group revenue growth slowing to more normal levels as expected in the second half as the impact of the pandemic on our markets unwinds," said Ian Page, chief executive.
"Whilst we expect current macroeconomic uncertainties to continue, the veterinary pharmaceutical market remains resilient and in growth. Our global trading continues to be strong and we continue to outperform the market, particularly in North America."
Shares were trading down 1.76% at 3,684p.
