Thor Mining PLC (AIM:THR, OTC:THORF, ASX:THR) said it completed the drilling programme at its Ragged Range gold and nickel project in the Pilbara, Western Australia.
The drilling samples have been sent to a laboratory in South Australia, with assay results expected to return in August-September, said the AIM-traded company.
Thor said 48 holes totalling 3,120m were drilled along the Sterling prospect 13km structural gold corridor at depths between about 60 to 170 metres over the last three weeks.
One hole was also drilled at the Krona prospect to test the electromagnetic conductor recently identified beneath the nickel gossan.
"Thor has successfully completed its second phase of drilling at the Sterling prospect, testing several exciting structural targets associated with complex faulting and folding along the 13km gold corridor,” said managing director Nicole Galloway Warland. “We were pleased to also drill test the Krona nickel-copper Fixed Loop Electromagnetic target as part of this drilling programme.”
