Induction Healthcare inks significant new reseller agreement

It has tied up with System C Healthcare as part of the continued roll-out of the Zesty digital patient engagement platform

Induction Healthcare Group PLC (AIM:INHC) said a key digital healthcare product now has access to 40% of acute care hospitals following its latest reseller agreement.

It has tied up with electronic patient record (EPR) specialist System C Healthcare, which will sell Induction’s Zesty engagement platform.

Zesty allows people to manage their hospital appointments, as well as view their letters and clinical records.

"We have a long-standing relationship with System C, one of the largest domestic suppliers of EPR software to the NHS, and it is a great step forward to be formally partnered with them under a value-added reseller agreement,” said Induction chief executive James Balmain.

“Given System C's market share and their ability to reach customers efficiently via their direct sales force, we expect to see significant revenue generated via this partnership over the coming years.”

The latest deal follows hard on the heels of a similar reseller contract with Cerner Corporation (NASDAQ:CERN).

And, as Induction pointed out, the new commercial relationships come at a time of significant national focus and spending on digital transformation as part of the NHS Long Term Plan.

Digitisation, especially through EPR providers, is also helping tackle the backlog of elective care appointments following Covid, it added.

"Together with our value-added reseller agreement with Cerner Corporation (NASDAQ:CERN), we now have access to over 40% of acute hospitals through reseller agreements,” said CEO Balmain.

“This agreement with System C acts as further material reinforcement of our strategy to partner with, and build on top of, the key underlying systems used by hospitals."
