Kingston Resources Ltd (ASX:KSN)'s Andrew Corbett speaks with Proactive’s Elisha Newell about the strategic vision for the company’s Mineral Hill asset and its Misima Project. The company recently kicked off its development and expansion strategy at Mineral Hill with a $10 million debt facility from PURE Asset Management (Resources Fund), which will enable the acceleration of the work programs required to restart mining. The KSN managing director explains the focus of the strategy is primarily to expanding the resource base to fill an initial five-year mine plan to deliver gold and copper production consistently over that period. Corbett also gives an update on the Misima Gold Project in PNG, where it has appointed ICA Partners to support a strategic review of the project after it finished the definitive feasibility study (DFS) for the asset. The review will be done in parallel with mining licence and environmental and social impact assessment work programs, expected to be completed in the third quarter and is designed to look at the long-term value opportunity at Misima. The overall goal of these programs is to bring CAPEX down and reduce dilution for shareholders, as KSN’s key aim is to increase shareholder value.
