Clean Seed Capital Group (TSX-V:CSX) Ltd, the ag-tech firm, has updated investors on recent activity, notably its introduction of the Mini-MAX, a scaled-down model of its North American SMART Seeder MAX, in India.
There, the firm's president Colin Rush and vice-president (VP) of operations and product development Jeet Jheetey recently met Dr JP Dalal, the minister of agriculture for the government of Haryana - a key agriculture producing region.
The company said its SMART Seeder technology could "fundamentally shift crop production to a more sustainable manner" in India.
"Our team then met with a large farmer cooperative representing over 12,000 farmers. They spent a few days educating the group on the advantages of adopting the SMART Seeder technology regionally and the meaningful advancements that follow which created interest with progressive influencers looking to scale profitable farming operations on large acres of agricultural land," the company added in its update.

Clean Seed noted it was also introduced to Sarvjit Singh, ACS Ministry of Agricultural, Government of Punjab.
Chandigarh University has also officially partnered with Clean Seed as the company's SMART Seeder MINI-MAX testing and demonstration partner in India, it added.
Away from India, Clean Seed also said it will be showcasing the SMART Seeder MAX at this years' Ag in Motion on July 19 to 21, 2022, which is the largest outdoor live demo tradeshow of its kind in Canada.
"Clean Seed will update our shareholders as we progress with our objectives in India and look to expand our international demonstration efforts to USA and Australia in the coming months," the company added.
