Australian Gold and Copper Ltd (ASX:AGC)’s Glen Diemer speaks with Proactive’s Elisha Newell about the latest gold hits from the Boxdale trend. This was the third drilling campaign at Boxdale since December, with the program fielding strong near-surface gold results from a 23-hole reverse circulation (RC) program across 2,370 metres at the Boxdale-Carlisle Reefs gold-arsenic-sulphide trend, recording up to 8.9 g/t gold. This 15-kilometre trend is part of the Moorefield Project in central New South Wales, which Diemer says the company wanted to explore laterally. The AGC managing director says the results continue to deliver consistent near-surface gold for the company in a time where such deposits are becoming increasingly rare and harder to find. Dimer also highlights the strong financial position the company is in, with about $4 million in the bank to do some pointed, high value exploration. There is plenty of newsflow to come, with AGC’s Gundagai Project also firing up. The drill rig will be turning up in two weeks at Gundagai, which the company says could be a lookalike to the 2.2 million ounce has a rich gold history, McPhillamys Gold Project owned by Regis Resources.
