Regener8 Resources NL’s Steve Foley speaks with Proactive’s Elisha Newell about the birth of Regenr8, which only recently secured the Kookynie gold tenements from GTI Energy Ltd (ASX:GTR) in the highly active and historically gold region around 155 kilometres north of Kalgoorlie. Foley highlights the value of the spin-out from GTI to shareholders before discussing the planned exploration at the project’s tenements. The R8R managing director also references the peers in the region that are actively finding encouraging results including Carnavale Resources, Metalicity and Genesis Minerals (ASX:GMD). The company’s main focus is Niagara West which includes historical high-grade workings, identified mineralisation and high-priority, walk-up targets. The company is set to hit the ASX board in July, having raised $4.5 million in its IPO with funds to support completion of the transaction, regulatory and heritage approvals and initial exploration.
