Xantippe Resources to start exploration work at flagship lithium project in Lithium Triangle

Xantippe Resources to start exploration work at flagship lithium project in Lithium Triangle

Xantippe Resources Ltd (ASX:XTC, OTC:XTCPF)’s Richard Henning speaks with Proactive’s Elisha Newell about the company’s history, including its transition from graphite in South Korea to gold explorer in the Southern Cross region in Western Australia where it holds approximately 190 km2 of tenements and its flagship position in the famed Lithium Triangle, where it aspires to supply sustainable, high purity lithium from its Carachi Project in Argentina. Henning discusses the current status of its Southern Cross assets and outlines its focus in Argentina, where it has acquired over four tenements and has exclusive options over a further land totalling 21,000 hectares. XTC is located close to the $2 billion capped lithium brine explorer and developer, Lake Resources, which has a resource of 4.4 million tonnes of lithium carbonate. Henning explains that while XTC is still early in its development, it is looking to start geophysical work in the next few months, with drilling to start after that. The company hopes it can develop a similar resource to Lake as it drills into the same reservoir as Lake, with plenty of newsflow to come.
