i3 Energy PLC announced its monthly dividend of 0.143p per share to be paid on 5 August.
The independent oil and gas company, with assets and operations in the UK and Canada, said it was paying out a total of nearly £1.7mln.
Payment to shareholders holding their shares on the Toronto Stock Exchange will be made in Canadian dollars using the exchange rate from the Bank of England at today’s close.
Not long after Wednesday's open, its shares rose 2.7% to 25.2p on the news.
