DX says board to undertake further work relating to internal investigation and inquiry

Trading in the company's shares has been suspended on AIM since January 2022

DX (Group) PLC said its board will undertake further work relating to an internal investigation at the parcels and courier group that started in October 2020.

Last November, DX's Audit and Risk Committee raised a corporate governance inquiry into the internal investigation and in February this year DX announced the resignation of its auditor, Grant Thornton, which had voiced its concerns regarding the progress of the inquiry and investigation.

The initial findings of the inquiry and investigation have been reported to the board, which has resolved to undertake further work.

“The board expects this further work and the recently commenced audit of the company's report and accounts for the financial period ended 3 July 2021 to be completed by 30 September 2022,” DX said in a statement.

Trading in the company's shares will remain suspended on AIM. The shares were suspended in January this year pending the publication of the group's 2021 annual report and accounts.

In February 2022, the logistics company reiterated that the inquiry is a corporate governance investigation and said it was connected to a disciplinary matter. It does not relate to the financial performance or the financial position of the group, DX said.
