Caledonia Mining Corporation PLC (AIM:CMCL, NYSE-A:CMCL)'s board of directors has declared a quarterly dividend of US$0.14 on each of its shares.
The company, which aims to become a multi-asset gold producer, also said it is on track to reach target production of between 73,000 and 80,000 ounces of gold this year.
It added that it continues to evaluate investment opportunities in Zimbabwe and elsewhere.
"Although the dividend continues to be a central part of our strategy, I am very excited with the opportunity that we have to evolve our business in Zimbabwe and de-risk it from being a single asset producer,” Mark Learmonth, chief executive, commented.
Caledonia will update the market of its progress in due course, it said.
The dividend will be paid to shareholders on 29 July.
On open, Caledonia shares rose 1.6% to 930p.
