Bigblu Broadband continues to trade in line with expectations, well positioned for second half

Total revenue for the six months to end-May grew 13.8% to £14.9mln, while adjusted EBITDA climbed 1.4% to £2.0mln

Bigblu (AIM:BBB) Broadband PLC said it continues to trade in line with expectations and is well positioned for the second half of the year.

Total revenue for the six months to end-May grew 13.8% to £14.9mln, with like-for-like revenue on a constant currency basis up 15.1%, while adjusted EBITDA climbed 1.4% to £2.0mln, the broadband services provider said in a trading update.

The company had around 60,400 total customers at the end of May, up from about 58,300 in the year-earlier period.

“We are pleased with the continued progress shown by the group in the period, and the efforts we have made to improve our offering in the Nordic region provides us with optimism that this region can return to growth,” said chief executive Andrew Walwyn.

The company said growth in Australia remains strong and that there had been encouraging early progress in New Zealand.

“Overall, the company continues to trade in line with expectations,” said Walwyn.
