Ora Banda Mining Ltd (ASX:OBM) has strengthened its operational expertise with the appointment of Luke Creagh as chief executive officer, who will take over from interim CEO Andrew Czerw.
Creagh is a mining engineer with 20 years’ experience in contracting and mining companies throughout Australia and internationally.
Most recently, he was chief operating officer for Northern Star Resources Ltd (ASX:NST) and before that served in various senior positions within Northern Star, including general manager of business development, general manager of strategy and growth, and operations manager.

“We couldn’t be happier that Luke is joining us. He has had considerable experience managing mining operations and is highly qualified to guide Ora Banda through its current operational reset plan,” chair Peter Mansell said.

Creagh has a Bachelor of Engineering (Mining) from the University of Queensland and holds a Western Australian first-class mine manager’s certificate. Before joining Northern Star, he worked as operations manager at Barminco Ltd.

Outgoing interim CEO thanked
Ora Banda’s board also expressed gratitude to interim CEO Andrew Czerw, who has been filling the role as the company searched for a permanent appointee.
“Andy, at short notice, made himself available to take on the role of interim chief executive officer and has initiated and guided the company through the operational reset plan,” Mansell said.
