Regency Silver Corp. (TSX-V:RSMX) announced that drilling has begun at its flagship Dios Padre silver property in Mexico.
The silver and gold exploration company said the 2,000 metre (m) drill program is designed to test a large induced polarization (IP) anomaly only 550m to the north of the existing Dios Padre historical workings to determine whether it represents a significant continuation of the mineralization at Dios Padre.
“We are hopeful that this drill program will assist in unlocking the potential of Dios Padre,” Regency Silver executive chairman Bruce Bragagnolo said in a statement.

“The grade and width of the previous drill intercepts and historical mining works leads management to conclude that there is potential for significant additional mineralization at Dios Padre,” Bragagnolo added.
Regency Silver noted that the drill program is scheduled to last until the end of July, with assay results expected to take up to six weeks from the date of delivery of material.
Regency Silver is a silver and gold exploration company focused on the Americas. The company is led by a team of experienced professionals with expertise in both exploration and production. Its flagship project is the Dios Padre silver project in Sonora, Mexico.
