Pan African Resources PLC (AIM:PAF, OTCQX:PAFRY, JSE:PAN, OTCQX:PAFRF) said a definitive feasibility study (DFS) on the Mogale Gold Proprietary Ltd tailings storage facilities (TSFs) demonstrated the project's potential.
Re-mining of the Mogale TSFs is expected to add about 50,000 ounces a year of production, over its 13-year mine life - equivalent to a 25% increase in Pan African’s current output.
Bradda Head Lithium Ltd reported positive results from its first drilling programme at the Wikieup lithium clay project in Arizona, US.
"We are pleased to report these results which clearly demonstrate the presence of lithium-bearing clays at our Wikieup claims and have given us a greater understanding of the geology at Wikieup,” said chief executive Charles FitzRoy.
Tower Resources PLC (AIM:TRP) told investors it a signed term sheet with Central African brank BGFI for a 4.42bn Cameroon francs loan, equivalent to around US$7.1mln, as part of its funding arrangements for the upcoming NJOM-3 well on the Thali block, offshore Cameroon.
The company said the loan would cover around 40% of the expected well cost (US$18mln) and the remainder is being covered by Tower’s subsidiary in Cameroon, according to a statement released after Wednesday’s close.

Ultimately, the aim is to conduct a human challenge study next year to assess the efficacy of an inoculation created by Vaxart Inc (NASDAQ:VXRT) that can be administered orally rather than via a jab.

Primary Health Properties PLC (LSE:PHP, OTC:PHPRF) announced its third quarterly interim dividend in 2022 of 1.625 pence per ordinary share, to be paid on July 8. The dividend will comprise a Property Income Distribution of 0.8 pence per share and an ordinary dividend of 0.825 pence per share, the company noted. It added that it will offer a scrip alternative with this dividend.
Avation PLC (LSE:AVAP)has extended the maturity date of its aircraft warehouse loan facility by four years to 30 September 2026. Aircraft finance loans outstanding under the facility, which currently comprises nine aircraft, include US Dollar and Euro advances with a total value of US$128.7mln. Executive chairman, Jeff Chatfield said: " Following this extension the company has no significant debt maturities, other than regular amortisation payments, before 2025."
Copper and gold mining company Bezant Resources PLC (AIM:BZT) has drawn down £700,000 of capital under its £1mln loan facility. The company issued two drawdown notices today relating to the facility, which is with Sanderson Capital.
