Shareholders voted in favor of directors Trudy Curran, Joseph Gallucci, Alan Hair, John Jennings, Elise Rees, Kevin Ross and Dana Williams. They also voted to keep the number of directors at seven, to appoint KPMG LLP as auditors and for a resolution authorizing the company to proceed with a share consolidation on terms to be determined by the board of directors.

FansUnite Entertainment Inc announced that before listing on the Toronto Stock Exchange on July 5, its stock will be delisted from the Canadian Securities Exchange at the market close on July 4, at the company’s request. BioHarvest Sciences Inc said it has appointed experienced investment banking executive Gavriel Lambert to its board of advisors with immediate effect. Lambert, who has held positions at Barclays, Solomon Smith Barney, JP Morgan and UBS Securities, has 27 years of experience covering the consumer and retail sectors, and he has worked on numerous IPOs, financings and M&A deals, noted BioHarvest. The appointment continues to demonstrate the company's resolve to "partner with top life science and cannabis companies", according to a statement.

Infield Minerals Corp said it is zeroing in on its drill-ready, high-grade gold-silver Desperado property in Nevada, where a 2021 geophysical survey has identified more than 40 anomalous IP trends. "The compelling targets that have come out of our work at Desperado over the past year make it the clear priority for our exploration focus in 2022 and we look forward to drill testing Desperado in the coming weeks,” Evandra Nakano, CEO of Infield, said in a statement. The decision to focus on Desperado comes as the Vancouver-based company announced the termination of its option agreement with Mercury Exploration Nevada Inc on the M1 property in Nevada.

NEO Battery Materials Ltd said its South Korean subsidiary, NBM Korea Company Limited (NBM Korea), has signed an agreement to receive a strategic investment of 3 billion South Korean won (C$3 million) from Automobile & PCB Inc. (A&P) for a 40% stake. The Vancouver-based company said the proceeds from the Series A financing will be used to optimize commercialization efforts and to advance the first phase of the Korean silicon anode mass production facility for EV lithium-ion batteries. The investment is scheduled to close by July 1, 2022, added the firm. NEO noted that on the back of the strategic memorandum of understanding (MoU) with A&P on June 8, 2022, NBM Korea has “successfully secured a strategic investment and collaboration opportunity” after holding positive discussions and instituting a strict due diligence process.

BioSig Technologies Inc has earned a reiterated ‘Outperform’ rating and $4 price target from analysts at Noble Capital days after pricing a public offering that generated proceeds of $2.9 million. The offering was “[a] bit unexpected, timing-wise, but supports PURE EP commercialization,” the firm wrote. “...While we expected funding needs in the third quarter, we are bit surprised the company raised funds now. That said, BioSig is ramping up commercial activities as they shift to a national strategy.”

Oragin Foods Inc has said its first-quarter results were impacted by significant renovations at one of the food company’s older retail store locations, which are expected to bring long-term benefits through improved customer experience and operational efficiencies. Sales in the quarter ended April 30, 2022, fell to $5.7 million from $7.0 million in the same period last year, with net losses narrowing to $650,278 from $907,013. The company, which changed its name from Organic Garage to Oragin Food in February this year, said sales were “significantly impacted” by Organic Garage's renovation to one of its older retail store locations as well as changes to government COVID-19 lockdown policies. The impact of the renovations on net losses was offset by a reduction in store wages and benefits, professional fees, and costs savings related to the phasing out of warehouse operations.

Skye Bioscience inc said it has received regulatory approval to begin its first-in-human Phase 1 clinical study of SBI-100 Ophthalmic Emulsion, a patented drug representing a new class of therapeutics to potentially treat glaucoma, from the Australian Human Research Ethics Committee (HREC). The company said the primary endpoints for this randomized, double-masked, placebo-controlled Phase 1 study of SBI-100 OE are an assessment of safety and tolerability of the drug in healthy volunteers while the secondary endpoint is an assessment of pharmacokinetics. The study will also measure changes in intraocular pressure, the company said, adding that a total of 48 subjects will be administered SBI-100 OE or placebo in single ascending dose and multiple ascending dose arms. Preliminary top-line data is expected in Q4 and final data in Q1 of 2023.

O3 Mining Inc said it has posted encouraging drill results from the Camflo extension deposit at the company's Marban project in Val-d'Or, Quebec. In all, 6,338 metres (m) were sunk in two holes and three wedges on the extension as part of the work, which tested the depth extensions of the historic Camflo deposit and additional high-grade zones. Camflo Mines first discovered the Camflo deposit in 1962 and the asset was in production from that year until 1992, generating 1.89 million ounces of gold grading 5.7 grams per tonne (g/t). That previous output came mainly from the Camflo Plug, which - at surface - is outside O3 Mining's claims, but the extension of the plug and the mine below 800 vertical metres is within the Marban project.

Regency Silver Corp announced that drilling has begun at its flagship Dios Padre silver property in Mexico. The silver and gold exploration company said the 2,000 metre (m) drill program is designed to test a large induced polarization (IP) anomaly only 550m to the north of the existing Dios Padre historical workings to determine whether it represents a significant continuation of the mineralization at Dios Padre. “We are hopeful that this drill program will assist in unlocking the potential of Dios Padre,” Regency Silver executive chairman Bruce Bragagnolo said in a statement.

Ultra Safe Nuclear has invented a fourth-generation modular nuclear reactor, which can deliver safe, zero-carbon, cost-effective energy anywhere. The MMR uses ceramic-encapsulated nuclear fuel, namely fully ceramic micro-encapsulated (FCM), which is a stable fuel with extraordinary high temperature stability. BioLargo Engineering has been retained to provide engineering design support, fabrication, and integration for the prototype fuel production systems. It has been contracted for work in the range of a half million US dollars, to be completed over several months.

Avalon GloboCare Corp has announced a new study incorporating artificial intelligence (AI)-enhanced protein design technology that could accelerate development of therapeutic monoclonal antibodies to treat cancer. Developed by Avalon, the QTY code technology is a protein-design platform that can turn water-insoluble transmembrane receptor proteins into water-soluble proteins for use in clinical applications, including drug development. According to New Jersey-based Avalon, the research demonstrates a novel method for quickly predicting the design of hydrophilic variant structures of the 14 glucose transport membrane proteins in cells, which allows researchers to study the proteins more easily in water.

Snowline Gold Corp said it has encountered 415 metres (m) of nearly continuous mineralization downhole from bedrock surface in V-22-007 at its Rogue Project’s Valley Zone in Canada’s Yukon Territory. The presence of such a large and intense zone of mineralization in a significant step-out along trend highlights the scale potential of the Valley Zone, the gold exploration company said. "I've seen a lot of rocks and a lot of drill core from many intrusion-related gold systems, but these Valley intersections have the most intense vein densities I've ever seen. There are overprinting vein generations and varying vein orientations, which is unusual, and further indicates a very robust mineralizing system,” Snowline chair and director Craig Hart said in a statement.

KULR Technology Group Inc said it is teaming up with Taiwan’s E-One Moli Energy Corporation (Molicel) to boost its production and supply chain localization plans within North America. KULR, a developer of next-generation lithium-ion battery safety and thermal management technologies, said it had placed an initial order for over 75 megawatt hours of lithium-ion battery cell capacity from Molicel to design and build battery applications “with the highest safety ratings”, according to a company release. The partnership will advance KULR’s total battery safety and thermal management solutions strategy, the company told shareholders.

The Vancouver-based junior resource company engaged in the exploration and development of gold properties in Brazil, said both preliminary (LP) and installation permits (LI) have been granted by the Para State Environmental Agency (SEMAS/PA) for two Trial Mining Licenses previously approved by the Brazilian Mining Agency (ANM). The LP and LI permits cover the key MG and Central deposits, as well as the Machichie and PDM discoveries, said the company. Drilling at the project has been delayed due to the effects of last year's wildfire, the company said. The program for 2022 will now include a drone-based airborne magnetic survey and a helicopter Lidar survey, Ximen Mining said, noting that these are being done to provide base information for exploring extensions to the main and parallel zones.
