Miramar Resources Ltd (ASX:M2R)’s Allan Kelly updates Proactive on the multiple, high-grade gold results it has received from aircore drilling at its 80%-owned Gidji JV Project in WA. Kelly explains the thick, primary gold intersection in re-splits of one of its aircore holes, measuring 5 metres long at 2.51 g/t and open to the northwest and says that the company is also undertaking reverse circulation (RC) and diamond drilling at Gidji’s high-priority Marylebone East target. Several of the high-grade gold results covered in today’s announcement come from Marylebone East, where the company recently announced that RC drilling intersected a highly altered and sulphidised dolerite. Kelly is buoyed by the fact that each time its completes an aircore drilling program it receives multiple significant and/or high-grade gold results across several targets. In the pipeline is a 10,000-metre Boorara North aircore drilling campaign, assays to be returned from its Blackfriars and Highway aircore drill campaigns, which were completed in April and follow-up aircore and/or RC drilling at these two high-priority targets.
