Nexus Minerals Ltd (ASX:NXM)’s Andy Tudor brings Proactive’s Andrew Scott up to speed on exploration activity at its Wallbrook project in WA’s Eastern Goldfields. NXM’s managing director underlines the company’s progress at its flagship Crusader-Templar project, as well as the gold camp’s regional targets. Tudor explains that Nexus has now completed nine months of extensive drilling and is encouraged by the project’s prospectivity, highlighting the fact he believes they have achieved in nine months, what it takes some juniors three to four years. He also outlines the range of results that are due and the upcoming work programs, including completion of the detailed geological work and interpretation and the importance of geological modelling to allow NXM to assess the information it has gathered so far and plan future drill programs. The company has also completed 20,00 metres of RC drilling across three regional prospects, known as Branches, Solomon and Clement and a regional gravity survey, with data processing underway. Tudor explains that NXM can now rank the regional prospects in order of priority but with multiple mineralised corridors and targets on its hands, there’s potential to shape an emerging gold camp.
