Silver Mines Ltd (ASX:SVL)’s Tony McClure joins Proactive after exploration resumed at the polymetallic Barabolar Project in Central New South Wales. Diamond drilling is now underway, and the program represents the first modern exploration in the area for more than 27 years. SVL expects to complete an initial program of 2,000 metres by the end of the September quarter. McClure said it was great to see activity recommence given Barabolar’s considerable surface anomalism.
