Ceres Power Holdings PLC (AIM:CWR, OTC:CPWHF), the fuel cell and electrochemical technology innovator, has a new partnership with Shell which will see the collaborators deliver a megawatt-scale solid oxide electrolyser demonstrator.
That sounds complex, but chief executive Phil Caldwell tells Proactive that essentially the technology can generate green hydrogen, which is recognised as a pathway to hitting a net zero future.
Ultimately Caldwell hopes the agreement will be a profitable one for the company. It increases the potential for future partnerships and technology embedding for customers committed to the decarbonisation of society.
“The outlook for Ceres,” says Caldwell, “is very bright.”
