GSK PLC (LSE:GSK, NYSE:GSK) is chasing a label extension for its shingles vaccine in Japan.
It wants doctors to be able to prescribe Shingrix to at-risk groups over the age of 18, including those with compromised immune systems.
The drug is currently approved for use in the over 50s in the country.
In the first quarter, sales of Shingrix were almost £700mln.
