Oracle Power PLC (AIM:ORCP) said it signed an agreement with Nuvera Fuel Cells, a US manufacturer of fuel cells, to explore opportunities to use green hydrogen for heavy-duty transport and port infrastructure in Pakistan.
The agreement between Oracle, the natural resource project developer, and Nuvera will allow for the two companies to work together in identifying and building relationships with customers in Pakistan.
In a statement, Oracle said the two companies will also work with the governments of Sindh and Pakistan to obtain support for hydrogen mobility infrastructure, as well as cooperate to demonstrate the use of fuel cells in heavy duty-vehicles.
Nuvera, which is headquartered in Massachusetts, has teams across the globe and provides “clean, safe and efficient products”.
“Working with Nuvera, a pioneer in zero-emission fuel cell engines, will equip Oracle with the technical expertise to bring the benefits of the clean, safe and highly efficient green hydrogen fuel cells to the industrial vehicle market in Pakistan,” said chief executive Naheed Memon.
