Imugene Ltd (ASX:IMU, OTC:IUGNF)'s Leslie Chong joins Proactive's Andrew Scott to outline the final overall survival data from the company's Phase 2 HER-Vaxx study. In a nutshell, the treatment candidate targets Her-2/Neu-overexpressing in advanced or metastatic gastric cancer, and patients treated with HER-Vaxx for the longest remain alive 2.5 years after starting therapy, with one patient approaching three years. Chong says not a lot of people get to see a pre-clinical product move to successful Phase 2 trials, and she says she's incredibly proud of the company. A higher dose has been approved for the company's next studies, and Imugene has also secured a new clinical batch, which was manufactured to supply all planned HER-Vaxx clinical trials in 2022.
