PVW Resources George Bauk speaks with Andrew Scott about the drilling that is now underway at the Tanami Heavy Rare Earth Project in WA. The company has started its maiden drill program, which will comprise ~10,000m of Reverse Circulation (RC) and ~25,000m of air-core (AC) drilling. Bauk explains the potential for extensive hydrothermal unconformity-related rare earth mineralisation identified along the 18km long Watts-Castella trend, as well as the extensive target area with known REE and gold mineralisation and multiple discovery opportunities. Aircore drilling will start in September and continue through to November, with strong newsflow expected. The executive director also discusses worldwide government support for projects similar to Tanami, talks he has had with the Department of Defence and Department of Energy in the US and his visit to legislative influencers in the US and the optimism and enthusiasm surrounding rare earths exploration.
