Empire Metals Limited's managing director said the company is at a "key turning point in its strategy" following the acquisition of three copper-gold projects in Australia in April and encouraging drill results at its Eclipse gold project.
Shaun Bunn added those results persuaded it to bolster its position at Eclipse by acquiring the neighbouring Gindalbie project and creating "real scale" in the region.
discoverIE Group PLC (LSE:DSCV) announced that Susan Jefferies, the wife of chief executive Nick Jefferies, and Simon Gibbins, the group’s chief financial officer, each acquired 3,297 discoverIE shares this week at an average price of 601p.
Following these purchases, Nick Jefferies is interested in 1,245,127 shares, representing about 1.30% of the company's voting share capital and Simon Gibbins is interested in 391,561 shares, representing roughly 0.41% of the company's voting share capital.
Eight Capital Partners PLC (AQSE:ECP), the fintech investor, said holders of its €7% fixed rate bonds have agreed to extend their maturity to 3 September 2026, while the rate of interest applicable to the bonds will now be 4.8% per annum.
Interest payment frequency will also be increased to quarterly, while the bondholders have also been awarded warrants to subscribe for new ECP ordinary shares. The duration of the warrants will be one year from 1 July 2022.
Dominic White, executive chairman of ECP said: "Thanks to the positive support of the holders of our 7% bonds, we are able to take this exciting next step forward through our proactive balance sheet expansion, which underpins ECP's wider fintech growth plans."
Metal Tiger PLC (AIM:MTR, OTC:MRTTF, ASX:MTR) said it has disposed of, 310,000 shares in Sandfire Resources at an average price of A$4.54 per share.
Metal Tiger will use the partial proceeds of these sales to pre-pay circa A$1.37mln against the outstanding loan principal of A$7.46mln owed to a nominee of SC Lowry Primary Investments.
Following these disposals, Metal Tiger is interested in approximately 1.72% of Sandfire’s issued share capital.
