Sigma Lithium Corp (TSX-V:SGML, OTCQB:SGMLF, NASDAQ:SGML) co-CEO Ana Cabral-Gardner joined Proactive's Stephen Gunnion with the news that the company has substantially increased the total mineral resource estimate at its Grota do Cirilo lithium project in Brazil by around 50% after a mineral audit at the Phase 3 NDC deposit.
Cabral-Gardner telling Proactive that the new estimate for the project has reached 85.7 million tonnes, up from the previous estimate of 58.9 million tonnes, which she said makes it among the largest mineral lithium projects in the world.
Construction of the Phase 1 plant is on schedule and on budget, with civil engineering under way and construction of key infrastructure items continuing in June, Gardner added.
